Job summary

Mater Hospital Springfield is seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurses to join our Emergency Department on a permanent full-time or part-time basis (minimum 0.5 FTE). You will work in a brand-new ED with a dynamic, multidisciplinary team and a state-of-the-art facility designed for high-quality, efficient care.

You will provide patient-centred nursing care in a fast-paced environment, participate in teaching and mentoring, and support continuous improvement while delivering

Qualifications

• Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
• Demonstrated clinical experience in an acute care setting, ideally within an Emergency Department.
• Ability to work across a 24/7 rotating roster.
• Excellent communication and teamwork to support a high-performing clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centred nursing care in a fast-paced Emergency Department.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care for optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with medical, nursing and allied health teams to coordinate care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient confidentiality at all times.
• Participate in quality improvement and ongoing professional development.
