Job summary

Coates Hire is seeking a Customer Service Coordinator at our Edinburgh branch in Adelaide. You’ll be the first point of contact for customers, delivering exceptional service and helping them find the right equipment solutions for projects.

Working with branch teams, drivers, account managers and product specialists, you’ll coordinate hire solutions, process quotes and orders, arrange deliveries and ensure safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience in a customer-facing environment.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organisational skills.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
• A current Driver’s Licence.
• Experience in equipment hire, construction or logistics is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email and face-to-face interactions.
• Create quotes, processing hire agreements, generating invoices and managing customer orders.
• Coordinate equipment deliveries, transfers, pick-ups, breakdowns and changeovers.
• Collaborate with branch and sales teams to deliver the best possible customer outcomes.
• Support branch operations through administration, stocktake activities and asset coordination.
• Assist with equipment preparation, loading activities and general branch support when required.
• Contribute to our Safety First culture and maintain a safe, clean and organised workplace.
