Job summary

IEPro Recruitment is seeking experienced Civil Supervisors for multiple infrastructure projects across Far North Queensland. Opportunities span mine infrastructure and DTMR/road construction, with FIFO or DIDO options and a focus on leading crews and delivering safe, productive outcomes on site.

You'll oversee 30+ operators and labourers, coordinate plant, personnel and daily activities while ensuring safety, quality and programme adherence.

Qualifications

Proven experience supervising civil construction projects in Australia.
Strong experience across earthworks, roads, drainage or mine infrastructure.
Ability to lead operators, labourers and subcontractors.
Understanding of plant utilisation, productivity and sequencing.
Ability to plan and coordinate multiple work fronts.
Strong safety and quality focus.
Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
Willingness to work FIFO or DIDO in regional Queensland.

Responsibilities

We have opportunities across two key areas: a major mine infrastructure project requiring an experienced Supervisor to lead a substantial site workforce, as well as DTMR and road construction projects for Supervisors with proven Queensland road delivery experience.

The Opportunities

Mine Infrastructure

We are looking for an experienced Civil Supervisor to support the delivery of new infrastructure for an operational mine in Far North Queensland.

You will oversee a workforce of 30+ operators and labourers, coordinating plant, personnel and daily construction activities across multiple work fronts.

The scope includes:

Haul road construction
Exploration pads
Mine infrastructure pads
Bulk earthworks
Drainage and associated civil works
Camp construction and supporting infrastructure

The role can accommodate either a 3:1 roster or Monday to Friday arrangement, with camp accommodation and meals provided.

DTMR / Road Construction

We are also looking for experienced Civil Supervisors for upcoming DTMR and road infrastructure projects across regional Queensland.

This opportunity will suit Supervisors with a strong background across road construction, earthworks, pavements and drainage who are comfortable working FIFO or DIDO depending on project location.

You'll work closely with Project Managers and Engineers to plan and coordinate works, manage crews and subcontractors, and ensure programme, safety and quality requirements are achieved.

The Role

Depending on the project, you will:

About You

To succeed, you will bring:

Proven experience supervising civil construction projects in Australia
Strong experience across earthworks, roads, drainage or mine infrastructure
Demonstrated ability to lead operators, labourers and subcontractors
Strong understanding of plant utilisation, productivity and construction sequencing
Ability to effectively plan and coordinate multiple work fronts
Strong safety and quality focus
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Practical, hands‑on leadership style
Willingness to work FIFO or DIDO in regional Queensland

For the road construction opportunities, previous DTMR project experience will be highly regarded.
