We are seeking dependable, conscientious and proactive Cleaners to join our school team and help maintain a clean, hygienic, safe and welcoming environment for students, staff and visitors. Working under the direction of the Principal or nominated delegate, you will undertake a variety of cleaning and site-support duties in accordance with the school’s cleaning program and required standards. We are looking to fill temporary part-time/relief vacancies, as they arise for Term 4 2026.
This temporary vacancy is open to Expressions of Interest and any extensions to this appointment will not exceed 12 months.
Mount Isa Special School is set amongst the beautiful rugged red rolling hills with the industrial backdrop of a major Queensland mine operation. We are the most remote and rural special school in Queensland. Our school provides highly individualised programs based on the Australian Curriculum, for all students who are diagnosed with an intellectual disability and or multiple disabilities including physical, visual and hearing impairments and autistic spectrum disorders.
