Job summary

Willingness to undertake cleaning duties in a school setting.
Ability to work under supervision if required.

Responsibilities

Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and presentation across classrooms, offices and shared facilities.
Clean and sanitise toilets, sick bays and high-traffic areas.
Sweep, vacuum, mop and hose internal and external surfaces.
Clean windows, fixtures, furniture, equipment and other surfaces.
Undertake floor maintenance, including buffing, stripping and polishing.
Manage rubbish, litter and general waste, including drains and gutters.
Address cobwebs, mildew and graffiti as required.
Safely operate, clean and maintain cleaning equipment.
Follow established health, safety and hygiene practices.
Assist with building security, including locking and unlocking facilities.
Monitor and report safety, security, maintenance and damage issues.
Assist with maintaining appropriate supplies and cleaning materials.
Interact courteously and respectfully with students, staff and visitors.
