Job summary

Brisbane Private Hospital is seeking Environmental Services Assistants to join our friendly team on a casual basis. Shifts will vary between 6.30am-3pm for morning shifts and 7pm-2.30am for evening shifts, providing flexible hours across our Brisbane network.

You will take pride in your work, keep high cleaning standards, and follow infection control and WHS policies while delivering excellent service to staff and patients.

Qualifications

• Experience cleaning in hospital or hotel environments.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Available for on-call shifts.

About the role

Brisbane Private Hospital is looking to employ an Environmental Services Assistants to join our friendly and supportive team on a casual basis. Times will vary between 6.30am-3pm for morning shifts and 7pm-2.30am for evening shifts.

You will take pride in your work, have a friendly and positive work attitude and an interest to achieve high standards of customer satisfaction.

About us

Brisbane Private is a 181 bed acute and rehabilitation hospital with 17 operating theatres conveniently located above the Roma Street Parklands. Specialties include neurosurgery, orthopaedics, spinal, plastics, urology, ENT, Rehabilitation and general surgery and delivery of Brisbane's leading private drug and alcohol programs from Damascus Health Services.

As an Environmental Services Assistant your responsibilities will include:

• Provide high standard of cleaning services
• Operate in line with infection control standards and WHS policy & procedures
• Deliver excellent customer service to staff, clients and patients

Selection Criteria:

• Experience in Hospital/Hotel cleaning
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Works well independently and within a team
• Available for on call shifts
