Job summary

The Recruitment Org LLC is recruiting for a role in South-East Melbourne to drive growth in the environmental sector for a long-established materials business. You’ll hold and expand Major Account relationships and win new stakeholders against profit targets.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, the role requires on-site presence, industry knowledge, and the ability to quote accurately, manage pipelines, and secure tipping opportunities. Salary discussions are confidential.

• Position the business as the preferred partner for contaminated soil removal and disposal with developers and environmental consultants
• Win new work through networking, referrals, tenders and cold calling
• Make securing new tipping opportunities the primary focus and build a competitive edge in commercial tipping
• Stay across industry trends, regulatory changes and EPA guidelines
• Keep an active on-site presence and work closely with operations
• Quote accurately and on time, and run quoting, pipeline and tip sites through the CRM

The role

What you'll bring

• A track record of hitting sales targets
• Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, Earth Science, Hydrogeology or equivalent
• Experience in civil construction, earthworks or materials transport
• The ability to classify fill material by its geotechnical and environmental properties
