EHS Support seeks a Senior Environmental Consultant to lead VIC Contaminated Sites projects, delivering strategic solutions on multi-million-dollar closures and complex environments. You will guide contaminated land and groundwater assessments, supervise site investigations, mentor junior staff, and engage clients to deliver pragmatic, compliant outcomes across Australia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level or higher in Environmental Science/Engineering, Hydrogeology or Geology.
• 8+ years of consulting experience in contaminated land and groundwater remediation.

Responsibilities

• Undertake contaminated land assessments and prepare PSI/DSI reports and site management plans.
• Lead and execute complex contaminated land/waste projects including soil, vapour, surface water, wastewater and groundwater assessments.
• Provide mentoring and technical oversight to the contaminated land and groundwater team.
• Engage with clients and other disciplines to determine innovative environmental solutions.

We are currently seeking a Senior EnvironmentalConsultant, to join ourVICContaminatedSitesTeam to assist with some of Australia's of largest and most complex industrial facilities closures. We welcome applications from both individual leaders and established teams seeking a new platform to grow.

The role will involve forming providing technical oversight and strategic and practical solutions to clients with environmental management challenges.

The successful candidate will need:

• Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science/Engineering, Hydrogeology or Geology
• 8+ years’consultingexperiencein contaminated landand groundwaterand remediation projects.
• Experience in contaminated land assessments with exposure to a wide range of environmental and engineering situations
• Experience inlandfillassessmentsand compliance(desirable but not essential)
• Demonstrated experience in site supervision, managing site investigations and various sampling methods including soil and groundwater.
• Strong communication, well developedreport writing, and project management skills.
• A focus on safety and environmental responsibility.
• Knowledge of NEPM as well as health & safety best practice principles
• Strong knowledge ofVICenvironmental legislation
• The candidate must have a great eye for detail, a sense of practicalityin regard tolegislative and technical interpretation, and the ability to find pragmatic solutions.
