Consolidated Power Projects is hiring an Environmental Advisor to join its Health, Safety & Environment team across major transmission, substation and renewable energy projects. You will provide practical environmental advice and ensure obligations are managed throughout project delivery.

You will work with project professionals to establish expertise in environmental approvals, compliance and construction environmental management, developing capability for larger, more complex projects over

Qualifications

Relevant tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Environmental Management or related discipline.
4–5 years in environmental advisory/compliance in construction, infrastructure, utilities, energy or land rehabilitation.
Strong knowledge of environmental legislation, approvals, and EMS.
Experience with erosion and sediment control management and IECA procedures.
Experience developing and implementing Environmental Management Plans.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Current Australian Driver's Licence and willingness to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

Conduct site inspections to ensure environmental obligations are maintained.
Engage with internal stakeholders to ensure planned works comply with the environmental management plan.
Read and interpret approvals and environmental statements to develop or modify project EPMs.
Ensure activities comply with specifications, codes, standards, and environmental legal obligations.
