Job summary

CPP, a leading high-voltage infrastructure provider and part of Quanta Services, is seeking an Environmental Advisor to join its Health, Safety & Environment team in Australia. The role involves partnering with project teams across transmission, substation and renewable energy projects, delivering practical environmental advice and managing environmental obligations throughout delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in Environmental Science or related field.
• 4–5 years in environmental advisory or compliance within construction/infrastructure/energy.
• Knowledge of environmental legislation, approvals and EMS.
• Experience in erosion and sediment control per IECA.
• Experience developing Environmental Management Plans.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication.
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure Environmental obligations are maintained.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure planned works comply with environmental management plan.
• Read and interpret Development Approvals, Environmental Impact Statements and other project information to develop or modify project construction environmental management plans.
• Ensure all activities comply with contract specifications and environmental legal obligations.
