The Central Tanami Project Joint Venture (CTPJV) invites an Environmental Advisor to support the Environmental Management System, regulatory compliance, monitoring and reporting across the site during a critical restart phase.
Reporting to the Manager Environment and Approvals, you will balance field activities with compliance work, coordinate with regulators, contractors and crews, and help drive rehabilitation, fauna monitoring and continuous improvement in a remote mining environment.
The Central Tanami Project Joint Venture (CTPJV) - a 50:50 partnership between ASX‑listed Tanami Gold NL and MGX Resources Limited - is entering an exciting new phase of growth. With plans progressing to develop the Groundrush Underground Gold Deposit and the Jims Open Pit, this is a rare opportunity to join a project as it moves from preparation into construction and restart.
CTPJV is supported by substantial existing infrastructure, including a processing facility on care and maintenance, established haul roads, bore field, gravel airstrip, and an accommodation village. Planning for mill replacement and infrastructure upgrades is well advanced, positioning the site for an efficient and accelerated restart.
We are about to commence an exploration decline and major surface drilling programs to strengthen our resources and mine plan, alongside significant investment in site infrastructure, camp upgrades, and operational systems. This is a hands‑on construction and start‑up environment, ideal for people who thrive on challenge and enjoy building something from the ground up.
Reporting to the Manager Environment and Approvals, the Environmental Advisor will support the implementation of CTPJV's Environmental Management System and assist in delivering regulatory compliance, environmental monitoring and reporting programs across the site.
This role offers a unique opportunity to join a developing mining operation and play a key role in environmental management, approvals, monitoring, rehabilitation and continuous improvement activities during a critical phase of project development.
Flights are from Perth to Tanami, NT on a 15:13 roster.
You are an environmental professional who enjoys balancing field-based work with environmental compliance and reporting responsibilities. You are proactive, organised and comfortable working in a remote mining environment where no two days are the same. You have a practical approach to environmental management, strong attention to detail and the ability to build positive working relationships with stakeholders across site operations, contractors and regulatory bodies.
We recognise that working on site often means time away from home. Respect, safety and fair treatment underpin how we operate. We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where people feel a sense of belonging and are supported to work safely and confidently as part of the team.
