Job summary

Scotford Fennessy seeks an experienced Project Geologist in Western Australia to lead greenfields exploration for gold. You will join a dynamic team with strong progression, hands-on field work, and a culture that emphasises learning and fun on site.

With 7+ years in exploration geology, you will design exploration programs, develop models, manage data, and work across tenements while reporting to drive mining performance and growth at the operation.

Qualifications

• Strong personal and communication skills.

• 7+ years experience in exploration geology.
• Tertiary qualification in Geology.
• Familiarity in 3D modelling and GIS software.
• Good understanding of QAQC protocols, drilling and sampling techniques used in gold exploration.
• Experience with tenement management and statutory reporting.
• MUST have full Australian Working Rights. Sponsorships will not be offered for this role.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design and implementation of exploration programs in accordance with the Company's policies.
• Undertake field work as part of the Company's active exploration activities.
• Assist in the development of exploration models, strategies and budgets.
• Data management, interpretation, basic modelling and reporting.
• Assist with day-to-day management of the company's tenement portfolio and reporting.
• Preparation of technical reports as applicable.
• Assist with Company's management and maintenance of exploration data.
• Efficient and effective management of field assistants and contractors as appropriate.
• Provide detailed technical reviews of project acquisitions and divestments.

Responsibilities:

As the Project Exploration Geologist, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of geological models, grade control oversight, and reporting to drive mining performance.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Undertake field work as part of the Company's active exploration activities.
• Assist in the development of exploration models, strategies and budgets.
• Data management, interpretation, basic modelling and reporting.

• Preparation of technical reports as applicable.
• Assist with Company's management and maintenance of exploration data.
