Job summary

Globe 24-7 is seeking an experienced Environmental Advisor for a site-based role in the Northern Goldfields, WA. The position supports the environmental team on a permanent, full-time basis with an 8 days on / 6 days off FIFO roster from Perth.

You will deliver practical environmental advice, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to rehabilitation and environmental improvement across underground and open-pit operations.

Qualifications

• Experience as Environmental Advisor in resources sector.
• Tertiary qualification in Environmental Science/Management.
• Experience implementing environmental management systems.
• Knowledge of environmental legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with monitoring, reporting and record keeping.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.

Environmental Advisor

Northern Goldfields, WA | FIFO 8:6 from Perth | Permanent

Globe 24-7 is partnering with an established resources operation to appoint an experienced Environmental Advisor to join their site-based environmental team in the Northern Goldfields.

This is a hands‑on environmental role for someone who understands the realities of working within an operational mining environment and can provide practical advice while maintaining strong environmental and regulatory standards.

You'll work closely with operational, technical and leadership teams, supporting environmental systems, compliance activities and day-to-day environmental performance across a diverse mining operation. There's also the opportunity to contribute to rehabilitation initiatives, environmental improvement activities and broader site environmental performance while working as part of a passionate, progressive and safety-focused team.

The role

• Providing practical environmental advice and support to operational teams
• Supporting the Environment Superintendent with environmental systems and initiatives
• Ensuring compliance with company requirements, environmental legislation and regulatory obligations
• Reviewing clearing permit applications and providing advice to stakeholders
• Maintaining clearing records, compliance registers and statutory documentation
• Monitoring, collecting, analysing and reporting environmental data
• Conducting environmental inspections, audits and compliance reviews
• Delivering environmental training, inductions and risk assessments
• Supporting environmental incident investigations and rehabilitation initiatives
• Providing environmental coaching and guidance to employees and contractors
• Preparing accurate and timely environmental reports
• Communicating environmental outcomes and requirements across relevant stakeholder groups

About you

We're looking for an experienced environmental professional with a background in mining, resources or a similar operational environment. You'll ideally bring:

• Previous experience as an Environmental Advisor or in a similar environmental role within the resources sector
• A tertiary qualification in Environmental Science, Environmental Management or a related discipline
• Practical experience implementing and maintaining environmental management systems
• Sound knowledge of environmental legislation, regulatory requirements and environmental best practice
• Experience with environmental compliance, monitoring, reporting and record keeping
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• The ability to collaborate, negotiate and influence across operational teams
• A practical, solutions-focused approach and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• FIFO or remote mining experience will be highly regarded
• A valid C Class Driver's Licence
