Superior People Recruitment in Laverton VIC is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to help plan, coordinate and optimise the flow of goods across Melbourne operations. No experience required, entry-level role with potential to grow within a leading logistics team.

You will coordinate inbound/outbound freight, liaise with warehouse and transport teams, maintain records and act as a main contact for clients and carriers, while identifying process improvements to boost efficiency and customer

Qualifications

• Logistics, warehouse or transport coordination experience preferred but not necessary.
• Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
• Confident with computer systems; experience with a WMS or TMS is a bonus.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
• Excellent communication at all levels.
• Ability to identify and solve problems as they come up.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound freight, including bookings, receivals and dispatch, to meet client delivery timeframes.
• Liaise with the warehouse and transport teams to plan workloads and make the best use of people, space and fleet.
• Maintain accurate records, documentation and system data, including PODs, stock movements and job paperwork.
• Act as a key point of contact for clients, carriers and internal stakeholders, proactively keeping everyone informed and resolving issues as they arise.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency and the customer experience.
