Job summary

Bupa is seeking a Third-Party Governance Manager in the APAC Procurement Contract & Supplier Management team. You\'ll lead the enterprise-wide approach to third party governance, ensuring suppliers are governed consistently based on risk and business impact.

This role offers exposure across the organisation, with the opportunity to drive governance practices, reporting, and resilience by partnering with senior stakeholders and leading a centre of excellence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in third party governance, supplier management, or related disciplines within a complex or regulated environment.
• Knowledge of end-to-end supplier lifecycle: contracts, performance, SLAs, resilience, and relationship governance.
• Strong relationship management skills to influence senior stakeholders across a complex organisation.
• Proven track record designing and implementing governance frameworks and operating models for high-risk suppliers.
• Ability to translate policy, regulatory and risk requirements into practical governance controls.
• Strong analytical and reporting capability, with experience spotting trends and supporting decision making.
• Experience with technology suppliers, digital services or governance frameworks is advantageous.
• Qualifications in Business, Commerce, Procurement, Supply Chain, Risk, Finance, or Law; professional certifications such as MCIPS, CPSM or PMP are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve the Supplier Governance Framework, handbook, tiering, minimum requirements, and procedures.
• Translate policy, regulatory, risk, contractual and resilience requirements into practical governance controls.
• Define governance roles and accountabilities across Business Owners, Third Party Relationships, Contract Management, and Risk.
• Operate a governance centre of excellence, providing guidance and support across Bupa.
• Develop and maintain standard governance plans, meeting packs, scorecards, agendas and risk registers.
• Lead phased implementation across critical and priority third parties, including maturity assessments and uplift plans.
