Job summary

AustralianSuper is seeking a senior risk and compliance professional for a fixed-term contract through December 2027. You will report to the Senior Manager, Risk Strategy & Enablement, delivering Line 2 BAU activities and supporting risk transformation initiatives across Group Risk.

You will collaborate with subject matter experts, build strong stakeholder relationships, and embed risk controls and architecture. PowerBI reporting and GRC tooling experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, or Law.
• 6–8+ years' risk management experience in financial services or regulated industries.
• RMIA or GIA accreditation, or willingness to obtain after joining.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into business outcomes.
• Experience using PowerBI reporting tool.
• Experience using a GRC tool.
• Strong understanding of risk and controls, superannuation processes and related laws.
• Hands-on experience across risk assessments, incident management, and risk reporting.

Responsibilities

• Execute Line 2 BAU activities across Group Risk, including policy reviews, risk reporting, risk assessments, and controls testing.
• Support the implementation and embedment of risk transformation initiatives and revised risk architecture.
• Embed change using AI tools and promote adoption among colleagues.
• Prepare risk reports for forums, Board, and Board committees; design PowerBI reports.
• Present and lead workshops; review risk documents and influence stakeholders.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and model the Fund’s values.
