Job summary

Vinarchy seeks an Enterprise Risk & Internal Audit Manager to lead risk management, internal audit and assurance across its global operations. Based in Adelaide or Sydney, you will build capability, embed risk-based decision making and partner with senior leaders to mature governance.

You’ll report to the Risk & Sustainability Director and help shape Vinarchy’s risk framework, oversight of risk registers and assurance activities in a growing multinational wine business.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Risk & Sustainability Director, this is a rare opportunity to shape and lead enterprise risk, internal audit and assurance within a newly established global organisation. Based in Adelaide you'll lead a small team and partner with senior leaders, the Executive Leadership Team, Audit & Risk Committee and Board.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building capability, influencing strategy and creating practical frameworks that support better decision making. You'll play a key role in establishing and maturing Vinarchy's global risk approach, driving audit and assurance programs, strengthening governance and helping the business navigate an evolving risk landscape
The Enterprise Risk & Internal Audit Manager also leads the identification, assessment and monitoring of material risks, oversees risk registers and assurance activities, and promotes a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and proactive risk management across Vinarchy's global operations.

This role can be based either in our Adelaide or Sydney office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and continuously improve Vinarchy's enterprise risk management framework and risk reporting.
• Facilitate enterprise risk workshops and support leaders to embed risk-informed decision making.
• Lead the internal audit and assurance program, including risk-based planning and reporting.
• Provide risk and audit insights to the Executive Leadership Team, Audit & Risk Committee and Board.
• Oversee business continuity governance and support organisational resilience initiatives.
• Develop and coach a small team while building risk capability across the broader business.

What You'll Bring:

You’ll bring significant experience across enterprise risk management, internal audit, assurance, governance or related disciplines, ideally gained within a complex, multi-site or global organisation. You’ll have experience building and implementing practical frameworks, controls and governance processes that support business objectives while managing risk effectively. You will also have strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex risk and audit matters into clear, practical insights for senior leaders and governance forums.

We’re looking for a proactive self-starter with strong facilitation skills who can bring people together, challenge constructively and build credibility across all levels of the organisation. Someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, creating structure in a growing environment and partnering with leaders to drive meaningful outcomes will thrive in this role.
