Infosys Limited in Melbourne/Sydney is seeking an ENM Network Technical Specialist to own incidents, changes, and escalations in a 24/7 NOC. The role requires extensive experience with core networking disciplines and vendor ecosystems, with hybrid work arrangements.

The position focuses on providing expert SME guidance, proactive network support, and strong customer engagement across voice and digital channels, while mentoring junior engineers and aligning with governance and ITIL practices.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in network and infrastructure engineering in enterprise environments.
• At least 3 years in customer-facing technical support roles, preferably in a NOC or managed services.
• Solid hands-on expertise across Routing, Switching, SD-WAN, Network Security, and Infrastructure management.
• Experience with Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, Meraki, VMware, Netscaler, Fortigate, Velocloud, Solarwinds, ServiceCentral, Magpie, Splunk, Merge.
• ITSM/ITIL familiarity; incident, problem, change, and request management.
• Hands-on with enterprise monitoring tools and ticketing systems; strong SLA focus.
• Ability to participate in a 24/7 rotating shift roster and on-call arrangements.
• Excellent communication; proactive learning and collaboration with teams and customers.

Mansioni

• Own lifecycle of incidents, requests, problems, and changes from initiation to resolution and closure.
• Serve as primary escalation point for complex, high‑impact issues with expert guidance.
• Act as SME for enterprise customers, understanding their environments and priorities.
• Deliver proactive/reactive network support while maintaining SLA and continuity.
• Manage BAU and Non-BAU tasks daily, balancing ops and initiatives.
• Represent team in CAB meetings, contributing to risk assessments and approvals.
• Coordinate with third‑party vendors (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, etc.) to resolve escalations.
• Engage with customers across voice and digital channels, communicating updates clearly.
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers and support knowledge sharing.
• Assess IT environments, recommend enhancements, and future-proof solutions.
• Develop strategies to enhance performance, resilience, and maintainability.
• Ensure activities align with governance, architecture, and compliance.
• Produce technical documentation: architecture, runbooks, changes.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and vendor capabilities.
