Job summary

Talenza is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Architect in Melbourne to provide technical leadership across enterprise infrastructure, focusing on current landscape assessment, future-state architecture, and practical recommendations for compute, storage, backup, virtualization and end-user computing.

You will define technology roadmaps, work with stakeholders, and guide major decisions to modernise platform strategy while balancing cost and resilience in a large organisation.

Qualifications

• Experienced Infrastructure Architect with enterprise focus.
• Strong background across compute, storage, backup and virtualization.
• Ability to develop practical future-state architecture and roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Provide architecture and technical direction across compute, storage, backup and virtualization environments.
• Assess existing backup and recovery capabilities and recommend future-state solutions.
• Review the current virtualization environment and evaluate future options, including alternative platforms.
• Provide architectural guidance across enterprise storage, compute and data protection technologies.
• Assess end-user computing environments including potential VDI solutions.
• Develop technology roadmaps balancing capability, cost and future direction.
• Work with stakeholders to guide infrastructure strategy and decisions.
