Job summary

City of Melbourne is seeking an Enterprise Architect to lead and evolve our enterprise architecture practice. You will set strategic direction, align technology investments with organisational goals and guide a team of Solution Architects to deliver secure, scalable digital solutions that benefit the community.

You will collaborate across the organisation to develop architecture standards and roadmaps, drive cloud-first initiatives, and ensure governance and data practices align with regulatory

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in information technology or equivalent.
• TOGAF accreditation or equivalent experience in enterprise architecture.
• Experience leading an enterprise architecture function, with governance and investment decision-making.
• Knowledge of cloud, data, security, APIs, integration and data warehousing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and evolve City of Melbourne’s enterprise architecture practice, aligning technology, data, and security across domains.
• Shape technology strategy, influence investment decisions and deliver sustainable business outcomes.
• Establish and maintain architecture standards and roadmaps to support future-focused decision-making.
• Provide strategic leadership to Solution Architects and foster architectural excellence.
