Job summary

Service Stream seeks an experienced Enterprise Technology Manager to lead our Cloud, Network and Infrastructure Engineering team in Melbourne. You will drive reliability, security and performance across a hybrid environment while shaping the technology roadmap and championing automation.

Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Technology, you will manage a senior team, engage with stakeholders, and deliver major infrastructure, cloud and network projects, including Defence contract considerations

Qualifications

• 8+ years' experience across cloud, infrastructure and networking environments.
• Proven experience leading and mentoring technical teams.
• Exposure to database systems would be advantageous.
• Strong expertise in Windows Server administration.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
• Solid networking knowledge including LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, firewalls, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and VPNs.
• Strong automation and scripting skills using PowerShell, Python and Terraform.
• Experience with SAN/NAS storage technologies.
• Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proven track record implementing and uplifting security controls aligned to Essential Eight ML2.
• Experience with ITSM tools and processes (e.g. ServiceNow, Jira, Change & CAB management).
• Demonstrated success delivering infrastructure upgrades, cloud migrations and technology transformation projects.
• Strong vendor management, stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead Cloud & Infrastructure Leadership initiatives including AWS/Azure management and cost optimisation.
• Oversee Networking & Connectivity within LAN/WAN and cloud connectivity.
• Drive Automation & CI/CD using IaC and scripting.
• Direct Security & Compliance programs aligned to Essential Eight ML2.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing engineering team.
• Oversee Project Delivery & Governance for major infrastructure projects.
