Job summary

Launch Recruitment Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Lead in Melbourne to drive the modernisation and automation of a complex hybrid infrastructure. You will be hands-on, shaping automation standards and leading engineering outcomes while remaining deeply technical and involved in delivery.

The role focuses on building automation with Terraform, Ansible and related IaC tooling, across Windows Server environments, VMware and Hyper-V, to deliver scalable, efficient platform

Qualifications

• Proven experience in infrastructure engineering and operations.
• Strong hands-on leadership with technical delivery responsibility.
• Experience working with hybrid cloud environments and Windows Server.]
• Ability to lead automation projects using modern IaC tooling.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of infrastructure automation across hybrid environments.
• Build and maintain IaC solutions and reusable automation frameworks.
• Automate provisioning, configuration, patching and lifecycle management.
• Drive improvements across Windows, virtualization and cloud platforms.
• Develop automation standards and engineering best practices.
• Identify opportunities to eliminate manual processes and improve efficiency.
