Job summary

Amazon Web Services Australia Pty Ltd is seeking an Engagement Manager to lead delivery governance for cloud transformation engagements with enterprise customers across Australia.

This role focuses on project delivery, stakeholder coordination, and commercial oversight across one or more delivery streams—application modernization, cloud migration, and digital foundations—working with AWS leaders, partners, and customer teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of leading multiple Agile teams concurrently or at scale
• 7+ years of leading and delivering enterprise-level IT engagements
• Knowledge of the value proposition of the public cloud and cloud engagement delivery (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
• Experience in leading and delivering enterprise-level IT engagements

Responsibilities

• Leading and managing complex cloud migration and implementation projects
• Leveraging comprehensive knowledge of AWS services, architectures, and best practices to guide technical decisions and strategic planning
• Bridging business requirements with technical solutions, facilitating engineering discussions and ensuring alignment with customer business outcomes
• Distilling customer needs into clear technical requirements and map them to business outcomes
• Decomposing complex technical problems into actionable, deliverable solutions
• Contributing to technical documentation and define documentation standards
