Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) ANZ Modernization team is seeking a Business Development specialist to drive large-scale migration and modernization for Enterprise and Commercial customers in Australia. You will partner with Sales, Solutions Architects, and Professional Services to accelerate cloud adoption and build significant new opportunity pipelines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Go-To-Market, BD, Sales, or Consulting with Enterprise focus.
• Experience with Enterprise Application Modernization and Migration tech (e.g., Mainframe, Serverless, Containers, or Cloud Operations).
• Ability to present to both technical and non-technical executive audiences.
• Experience negotiating complex legal agreements.

Responsibilities

• Develop Enterprise messaging and collateral that communicates AWS value for migration and modernization.
• Develop and execute campaigns with internal teams including sales, solution architecture, cloud economics, marketing, partner teams, professional services, and legal.
• Build the BD pipeline by engaging with prospects, partners, and existing customers to accelerate large-scale evolution opportunities.
• Understand customer business and technical requirements and guide product direction with internal teams.
• Meet goals for divisions and industry teams within ANZ AWS for large-scale migration commitments.
• Contribute to business reviews to leadership on progress and roadblocks.
• Assist in complex enterprise contract negotiations with AWS teams and partners.
