Job summary

Zone IT Solutions Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Enterprise Applications Lead to govern, support, enhance, and continuously improve a portfolio of enterprise business applications across Finance, HR, Collaboration, Quality, and Aged Care/Community functions.

The role serves as the liaison between business stakeholders, vendors, MSPs, and internal tech teams to ensure stability, service excellence, compliance, and business value. It emphasizes ITIL governance and modernization initiatives.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in enterprise application management.
• 5+ years leading enterprise application portfolios.
• Experience with SaaS and COTS business applications.
• Strong ITIL Service Management experience; ServiceNow exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end service delivery and governance across the application portfolio.
• Ensure application availability, performance, reliability, and user satisfaction.
• Manage incident, problem, change, service request, and release processes aligned with ITIL.
• Lead major incidents, application recoveries, and service stabilization initiatives.
• Govern application roadmaps, upgrades, patching, releases, technical debt, and lifecycle management.
• Drive application rationalization, modernization, optimization, and continuous improvement.
• Manage vendors, MSPs, SLAs, KPIs, contracts, escalations, and SIAM engagement.
• Oversee enhancements, Agile delivery, testing, UAT, deployment, and release governance.
• Support audit, risk, security, access, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
• Identify automation, cost reduction, and efficiency opportunities using platform analytics.
• Lead application support teams, analysts, vendors, and SMEs while improving operational capability and documentation.
• Build strong relationships with business and executive stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

• 12+ years of enterprise application management experience.
• 5+ years leading enterprise application portfolios.
• Experience managing SaaS and COTS business applications.
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
• Experience with distributed/multi-tier architecture and offshore support teams.
• Proven experience in application transitions and service stabilization.
• Strong ITIL Service Management experience; ServiceNow exposure preferred.
