Job summary

Arcare, one of Australia's leading aged care providers, is seeking an Enrolled Nurse to work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and deliver high-quality nursing care to residents, in line with Arcare's values.

Key responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, administering medications, monitoring health, wound care, and documenting care via eCase; applicants must have Australian Working Rights and be willing to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA Registration and Diploma of Enrolled Nursing.
• Knowledge of Aged Care Accreditation Standards.
• Adaptable, passionate and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Personal Care: Assisting residents with ADLs incl showering, dressing, toileting, grooming.
• Medication Administration: Administering prescribed medications and documentation.
• Health Monitoring: Observing and recording vital signs; report changes.
• Wound Care: Basic wound care and dressing changes for minor wounds.
• Assessment & Reporting: Conduct assessments and document care; escalate to RN.

About the Role

As an Enrolled Nurse, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality nursing care and achieve positive outcomes for residents, in line with Arcare's values and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Personal Care: Assisting residents with ADLs including showering, dressing, toileting, and grooming
• Medication Administration: Administering medications as prescribed and maintaining accurate documentation
• Health Monitoring: Observing, recording, and reporting vital signs and changes in condition
• Wound Care: Providing basic wound care and dressing changes for minor wounds
• Assessment & Reporting: Conducting assessments and documenting care via eCase, escalating concerns to the RN or healthcare team
