Job summary

Calvary Health Care Kogarah seeks a capable nurse to deliver delegated patient care under supervision, aligning with NSW Health guidelines and local protocols. You will assess, intervene, and evaluate patient status while communicating changes to the RN, and work with the team to involve patients and families in care planning.

The role requires AHPRA registration, strong communication, and a patient-centered approach within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

About the role

Working under the direction of a Registered Nurse and in line with NSW Health guidelines and local protocols, you'll deliver delegated patient care while retaining full accountability for your practice. Your responsibilities span assessment, intervention, and evaluation of individual health and functional status with consistent communication to the RN regarding any changes. You'll apply critical thinking to support care decisions and work collaboratively with the broader healthcare team to involve patients, families, and carers in planning and achieving positive health outcomes.
