Job summary

Calvary Health Care Kogarah is seeking a nurse to deliver delegated patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will assess, intervene and evaluate health and functional status with clear communication to the RN.

You will apply critical thinking, work with an interdisciplinary team and involve patients, families and carers in care planning to achieve positive health outcomes.

• AHPRA Registration

Contract, Permanent, Casual/Temporary, Part time

• Rotating Roster 7 days a week
• Renumeration from$37.83to $41.10 per hour

About the role

Working under the direction of a Registered Nurse and in line with NSW Health guidelines and local protocols, you'll deliver delegated patient care while retaining full accountability for your practice. Your responsibilities span assessment, intervention, and evaluation of individual health and functional status with consistent communication to the RN regarding any changes. You'll apply critical thinking to support care decisions and work collaboratively with the broader healthcare team to involve patients, families, and carers in planning and achieving positive health outcomes.
