Job summary

Arcare Aged Care is seeking a Night Duty Enrolled Nurse for a permanent part-time role at Arcare Warners Bay. You will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to deliver compassionate nursing care to residents and uphold Arcare’s values.

Key duties include assisting with ADLs, administering medications, monitoring health, wound care and documenting care via eCase. Applicants must hold AHPRA registration and a Diploma of Enrolled Nursing, with a collaborative, friendly approach.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA Registration is required.
• Diploma of Enrolled Nursing is required.
• Knowledge of Aged Care Accreditation Standards is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs including showering, dressing, toileting, and grooming.
• Administer medications as prescribed and maintain documentation.
• Monitor residents' health, record vital signs, and report changes to RN or healthcare team.
• Provide basic wound care and dressing changes for minor wounds.
• Conduct assessments and document care via eCase; escalate concerns when needed.

About The Role

As an Enrolled Nurse, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality nursing care and achieve positive outcomes for residents, in line with Arcare’s values and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Personal Care: Assisting residents with ADLs including showering, dressing, toileting, and grooming
• Medication Administration: Administering medications as prescribed and maintaining accurate documentation
• Health Monitoring: Observing, recording, and reporting vital signs and changes in condition
• Wound Care: Providing basic wound care and dressing changes for minor wounds
• Assessment & Reporting: Conducting assessments and documenting care via eCase, escalating concerns to the RN or healthcare team
