Job summary

The Centre for Higher Education Studies (CHES) in Victoria is seeking an experienced English teacher to develop and deliver masterclass curricula for Year 7‑8 VHAP students. You will plan full‑day masterclasses, collaborate with CHES and regional partners, and contribute to resources and professional learning for schools delivering CHES masterclasses from 2028.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching English to middle/high school students.
• Ability to plan, deliver and assess high‑impact English masterclasses.
• Willingness to travel across Victoria to regional venues.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups and individuals in English.
• Develop, implement and evaluate curriculum for CHES masterclasses.
• Undertake other classroom teaching duties as directed by the Principal.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings and staff meetings.
• Assist with camps, excursions and non‑teaching supervisory duties.
