CHES is inviting a mathematics teacher to join its team delivering high-ability masterclasses for Year 7-8 across Victoria, with day-long sessions at CHES in South Yarra and regional venues. You will develop curriculum, mentor staff, and contribute to VHAP expansion from 2028, blending on-site and online delivery.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum and ability to teach literacy and numeracy.
• Experience planning and implementing high impact teaching strategies.
• Experience monitoring and assessing student learning and using data to inform practice.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with students, parents and staff.
• Demonstrated reflection and engagement in professional learning to improve teaching quality.

Responsabilités

• Develop challenging mathematics masterclass curricula and resources for Year 7-8 VHAP students.
• Plan and deliver full-day masterclasses at CHES and regional venues.
• Apply effective teaching approaches for high-ability students and promote reasoning and collaboration.
• Collaborate with CHES colleagues and the Department to develop resources for schools.
• Contribute to professional learning for High Ability Practice Leaders and lead curriculum development.
