Job summary

Aurecon Group is seeking a Talent Acquisition Consultant for a 12-month contract in Sydney. Based in our North Sydney/central Sydney region, the role requires delivering end-to-end recruitment for mid to senior levels across engineering portfolios, partnering with managers and leaders, and driving outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll source, assess and engage top talent, leverage ATS platforms, and apply AI-enabled insights to improve efficiency and candidate experience.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated success recruiting mid to senior-level professionals, preferably within engineering/technical environments.
• Ability to work at pace and manage competing priorities to deliver results.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills.
• Experience with recruitment systems and ATS platforms (Workday preferred).
• Comfort exploring AI-enabled tools and data insights to improve outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end recruitment for mid to senior roles across Engineering portfolios in NSW & ACT.
• Partner with hiring managers and senior leaders to understand workforce needs and deliver tailored hiring strategies.
• Proactively source, engage and assess high-quality talent using direct, market-led approaches.
• Balance high-volume recruitment with quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
• Provide market insights, guidance and best-practice recruitment advice to stakeholders.
• Leverage recruitment systems and process improvements to enhance efficiency and candidate experience.
• Ensure governance, compliance and exceptional candidate experience throughout the lifecycle.
