Job summary

Michael Page Australia is recruiting a Sales Manager – Engineering Solutions to lead a high-growth sales function in Sydney. You will manage a team of six, drive revenue, and oversee go-to-market initiatives across the engineering solutions portfolio.

The role requires a proven track record in technical or solutions-based sales, strong budgeting and performance management skills, and the ability to build strategic relationships to enable business growth.

Qualifications

• Proven sales leadership and people management experience.
• Experience managing and developing technical or solutions-based sales teams.
• Strong exposure to project sales, product sales or engineering-led solution sales environments.
• A technical background, ideally within civil engineering or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated ability to build and execute go-to-market strategies, drive product adoption and identify new growth opportunities.
• Commercial acumen with a strong focus on budgeting, sales metrics and revenue achievement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Engineering Solutions sales function, managing a team of ~6 direct reports across Sydney.
• Drive annual budget attainment through sales planning, pipeline management, and revenue generation.
• Oversee sales activity metrics, volume targets, and overall business performance against budget.
• Identify and execute new product introduction strategies, market penetration plans and go-to-market initiatives.
• Drive utilisation and market positioning of key Engineering Solutions offerings.
• Build strong internal and external relationships to support commercial outcomes and business growth.
• Lead team development, performance management, and PDP processes across the sales group.
• Manage the Solutions Specialist function within the team.
