Job summary

Fortescue Metals Group is seeking an Engineering Project Planner to support safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery of fixed plant upgrades, control systems, rail and other capital works at Hedland Operations. The role requires SAP proficiency, budgeting/forecasting experience, and strong stakeholder engagement.

You will coordinate multi-year works across Anderson Point and Rail, liaise with Project Managers, and support cost tracking and forecasting as part of a dynamic, safety-focused

Qualifications

• SAP knowledge with more than two years of experience required.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting or accounting required.
• Extensive Microsoft Excel experience.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills to liaise with multiple teams and SMEs.
• Strong leadership, communication and cost tracking abilities to influence stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Engage with multiple teams to plan multi-year works across Anderson Point and Rail.
• Plan and coordinate multiple discipline capital projects.
• Liaise with Project Managers to ensure timeframes and budgets are met.
• Support budget development, cost control and monthly/ quarterly forecasting.
• Assist stakeholders with Project Framework and DCRM requirements for compliance.
• Undertake detailed scoping with SMEs to support planning, cost tracking and reporting.
