Job summary

Fortescue's Iron Bridge project in Western Australia is seeking an Electrical Technical Coordinator to drive reliability and compliance of fixed plant electrical systems. You will lead faults, support supervisors, and collaborate with Engineering on upgrades to keep operations running safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Experience in an electrical fixed plant role.
• Proven expertise in PLC instrumentation and VSD fault finding.
• A Class Electrical Licence and High Voltage Switching certification.
• Strong understanding of mine safety regulations and electrical statutory requirements.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Experience with SAP and instrumentation qualifications highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical lead for all electrical faults and breakdowns.
• Provide technical support to supervisors and 2ICs.
• Work with Engineering to manage capital replacements and upgrades.
• Oversee electrical projects to ensure safety and compliance.
• Ensure the availability of critical spares to mitigate operational risks.
• Drive technical training programs for supervisory teams.
