Our client is one of the world’s leading producers of iron ore, metallurgical coal, copper and uranium, with operations in Australia and the Americas. Based in Adelaide, this Monday-to-Friday role focuses on cost control across studies and projects and requires advanced Excel skills and SAP experience.
You will forecast, budget and report on cost performance, maintaining data integrity and governance while collaborating with project teams to deliver successful outcomes.
Your new company Our client is amongst the world’s top producers of major commodities, including iron ore, metallurgical coal, copper and uranium. They extract and process minerals, oil and gas from their production operations located primarily in Australia and the Americas.
Provide cost control support across studies and projects, including forecasting, budgeting, and cost performance reporting. Apply strong change management governance to ensure scope, schedule, and cost changes are managed and controlled effectively. Analyse large and complex data sets, producing accurate insights and reports to support decision-making. Maintain project cost data and reporting within SAP, ensuring data integrity and compliance with governance requirements. Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to support effective financial and project outcomes.
Based in Adelaide, this Monday to Friday role offers the chance to work closely with local project teams and key stakeholders while contributing to the delivery of major projects with one of the world’s leading resources companies. You’ll gain exposure to complex project environments, work alongside experienced industry professionals, and further develop your expertise in cost control, project governance, SAP and data analysis, while influencing critical project decisions and outcomes.
