Job summary

Our client is one of the world’s leading producers of iron ore, metallurgical coal, copper and uranium, with operations in Australia and the Americas. Based in Adelaide, this Monday-to-Friday role focuses on cost control across studies and projects and requires advanced Excel skills and SAP experience.

You will forecast, budget and report on cost performance, maintaining data integrity and governance while collaborating with project teams to deliver successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in study or project cost controls is essential.
• Strong knowledge of change management governance, with the ability to support controlled, compliant and well-documented processes.
• Advanced Excel capability, including the ability to independently analyse complex data using formulas, pivot tables and reporting tools.
• Experience using SAP is mandatory; exposure to Ecosys will be highly regarded.

Your new role

Provide cost control support across studies and projects, including forecasting, budgeting, and cost performance reporting. Analyse large and complex data sets, producing accurate insights and reports to support decision-making. Maintain project cost data and reporting within SAP, ensuring data integrity and compliance with governance requirements. Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to support effective financial and project outcomes.
