WSP in Adelaide seeks an Engineering Manager to lead overhead transmission line projects, shaping design, delivery, and growth within the Transmission & Distribution team. You will mentor engineers, drive technical excellence, and build strong client relationships across major energy programs.

You will champion safety, sustainability, and continuous improvement while guiding bids and strategic initiatives to secure new work in a rapidly evolving market.

Qualifications

Proven leadership of engineering teams
Experience delivering transmission & distribution projects
Experience in design, planning, and execution phases
Strong knowledge of safety and compliance requirements in energy projects

Responsibilities

Lead the delivery of overhead transmission line projects from design through construction
Mentor engineers and uplift team capability
Drive a culture of continuous learning and improvement
Ensure compliance with Australian and international design/testing/commissioning standards
Develop client relationships and grow the business in the Adelaide market
Lead bids, proposals, and growth initiatives across projects
Support project delivery in higher-capacity roles as needed
Promote safety, sustainability, and innovation
