CitiPower and Powercor is seeking a Principal Lines Engineer to deliver high‑quality engineering solutions across the overhead transmission and distribution sector, with exposure to generation and industrial HV projects.

You will lead the design and delivery of transmission and sub‑transmission line projects, ensure technical excellence and safety, guide concepts through to commissioning, and mentor junior engineers in a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status, or ability to obtain.
• Registration with Victorian authorities (RPEV or BLA) as required.
• Ability to obtain registration in other states (RPEQ) if required.
• Extensive understanding of safety in transmission line design and construction.
• Experience with overhead sub-transmission and transmission networks per standards.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage overhead transmission and sub-transmission line design projects, applying strong technical expertise and leadership.
• Deliver innovative solutions across the overhead transmission and distribution sector, with HV exposure.
• Provide input into project estimation, scheduling, risk, safety, and constructability workshops.
• Contribute to safe, sustainable engineering solutions that support network upgrades and operational excellence.
• Develop and mentor design and delivery teams, identifying skill gaps and guiding growth.
