Job summary

WSP is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead design, delivery and growth of overhead transmission line projects across Australia. You will mentor engineers, shape technical excellence and strengthen WSP’s market presence in a rapidly evolving energy market.

You’ll drive national collaboration, lead bids and client relationships, and promote safety, sustainability and continuous improvement across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Proven leadership experience across people, projects and mentoring/coaching.
• Strong background in overhead transmission line design and engineering.
• Experience with PLS-CADD (TOWER/POLE) highly regarded.
• Proven ability in business development, proposals and winning work.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of overhead transmission line projects across design, planning and execution phases.
• Provide strong technical and people leadership, mentoring engineers and supporting capability uplift.
• Foster a high-performing team culture focused on continuous learning and development.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, enhancing WSP’s market presence.
• Lead bids, proposals and strategic growth initiatives to secure new work.
