Job summary

Davies Ross Consulting Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior/Principal Engineer to progress into an Engineering Manager role in Sydney’s Pyrmont. You will lead an established team, oversee remedial, façade and structural rehabilitation projects, and work directly with Directors to help grow the business.

Ideal candidates hold a Civil/Structural Engineering degree with 8–10+ years of relevant experience, strong leadership, and client-facing abilities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (required).
• 8–10+ years of engineering experience with remedial/structural projects.
• Strong background in remedial engineering, structural rehabilitation or building defects.
• Experience leading projects and guiding other engineers.
• Good understanding of concrete repair, façade remediation and building structures.
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercial awareness and solid project delivery capability.
• Excellent communication, organization and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support and mentor a team of structural and remedial engineers.
• Oversee remedial, façade and structural rehabilitation projects.
• Provide technical guidance and review engineering reports, designs and documentation.
• Manage project delivery, programmes, budgets and commercial outcomes.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and contractors.
• Support team development, resource planning and technical standards.
• Work closely with Directors on operational improvements and business growth.
• Ensure projects are delivered to a high technical and professional standard.
