Qualifications

• BSc/BEng in appropriate engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
• MCIBSE/MIEE or HND/HNC + relevant experience or equivalent.
• GreenMark / LEED / WELL qualifications.
• Experience with sustainable design across building types.
• Solid knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Understanding of contract and business law.
• MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.) knowledge.
• Ability to use IT-based calculation/spreadsheet software.
• Familiarity with Singapore codes.
• Experience with invoicing and credit control.
• Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
• Leadership and mentoring skills.
• Chairing and facilitating meetings.

Responsibilities

• Run major projects and lead development, design, and coordination of engineering services.
• Carry out cost and profit diagnosis, feasibility studies, and fee bids.
• Review status with project personnel and adjust schedules; prepare management reports.
• Develop and specify control systems for building engineering services.
• Survey tests and report on existing electrical and mechanical installations.
• Specify activities to ensure that installations meet requirements.
• Represent the company at technical meetings with customers and contractors.
• Ensure calculations and drawings meet robust industry standards.
• Day-to-day decisions on project progress and client liaison.
• Ensure risk and performance monitoring through internal controls.
• Lead coordination of engineering services.
• Take a holistic view in selecting and applying engineering concepts.
