Job summary

Our client is a well-established engineering consultancy seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead civil projects from inception to delivery. You will coordinate cross-disciplinary teams across civil, structural, and water disciplines, manage budgets and client relationships, and ensure compliance with Australian standards.

Based in NSW with flexible working options; 10+ years in civil design and project management are required, along with proficiency in AutoCAD, 12D, DRAINS and MUSIC.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 10+ years' experience in civil engineering design and project management.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, 12D, DRAINS, and MUSIC.
• Excellent communication skills including report writing and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary project teams across civil, structural, and water disciplines.
• Manage project budgets, programmes, and client relationships from DA through to construction.
• Prepare and review engineering reports, specifications, and documentation.
• Liaise with clients, councils, service authorities, and government agencies.
• Ensure compliance with Australian Standards, Council design standards, and Service Authority requirements.
• Mentor and support junior project managers and engineers.

Our client is a well-established, multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy with 100+ staff across NSW, QLD, and VIC. With 16+ years in operation and a strong presence across both private development and public infrastructure, they deliver civil, structural, surveying, water servicing, and road design services to some of Australia's leading developers and government agencies.

They're growing and they're looking for a Senior Project Manager to join their team.

The Role

As Senior Project Manager, you'll take ownership of civil engineering projects from inception through to delivery, working across a diverse portfolio spanning residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure sectors.

• Lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary project teams across civil, structural, and water disciplines
• Manage project budgets, programmes, and client relationships from DA through to construction
• Prepare and review engineering reports, specifications, and documentation
• Liaise with clients, councils, service authorities, and government agencies
• Ensure compliance with Australian Standards, Council design standards, and Service Authority requirements
• Mentor and support junior project managers and engineers

About You
