Job summary

Secom Technical Services seeks an experienced Engineer to join its NSW team in Macquarie Park. You will manage the engineering lifecycle of electronic security systems, including design, site assessments, documentation, and commissioning on major projects and high-security environments.

Requirements include 4+ years in electronic security, knowledge of CCTV, access control, networking and system integration; ability to read drawings; Australian citizenship with NV1 eligibility.

What You’ll Bring:

• Degree, Diploma, or relevant industry experience in Engineering, IT, Telecommunications, or similar
• Australian Citizenship with eligibility for NV1 Security Clearance
• 4+ years' experience in electronic security systems
• Strong knowledge of CCTV, access control, networking, and system integration
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Gallagher, Bosch, Axis, Hikvision, or similar platforms
• Security system integration experience
• Mentoring or commissioning experience
• Strong troubleshooting and technical governance capabilities
