Job summary

Queensland Endodontics is seeking a warm, reliable reception professional to welcome patients, manage calls, bookings and records across Wynnum and Capalaba locations. You will support the clinical team when needed and handle HICAPS and payments with accuracy.

We value a friendly, presentable team member who communicates clearly, organizes workloads efficiently and embraces training on practice software and protocols.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Dental reception experience is highly regarded.
• Dental assisting skills are a welcome bonus.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients and helping them feel comfortable and cared for.
• Answering calls and responding to enquiries in a friendly, professional and timely manner.
• Learning our endodontic booking protocols and knowing when to refer patient questions to the clinical team.
• Booking and coordinating appointments to keep the day running smoothly.
• Managing patient records, correspondence and medical documents with precision, confidentiality and care, while following privacy and document-handling requirements.
• Using dental practice software and learning new systems and processes.
• Processing HICAPS claims, taking payments and completing end-of-day account reconciliation.
• Staying on top of tasks, returning calls promptly and following through on patient enquiries.
• Helping with occasional sterilisation duties, following training and infection control protocols.
• Stepping in to assist the clinical team when needed, where you have the relevant skills and experience.
