Job summary

Parliament of NSW is seeking an End User Computing Analyst to deploy, administer and support endpoint technologies in a Sydney CBD setting. The role is hands-on and supports desktop, laptop, tablet and mobile devices for Members, staff and parliamentary departments.

The position is ongoing full-time in Sydney with a salary of AU$102,936–AU$113,579 per year, plus employer superannuation and annual leave loading. The department values collaboration and service.

• Familiarity with imaging, SOE management, patching and endpoint security.

• Responsible for deploying, administering and supporting endpoint technologies for NSW Parliament.

• $102,936 – $113, 579 per annum, plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.

About the role:

The End User Computing Specialist is responsible for deploying, administering and supporting endpoint computing devices and associated technologies for the NSW Parliament. This includes desktops, laptops, mobile devices, tablets, printers, monitors and other peripherals.

The role ensures workplace technologies are secure, current, and responsive to user needs, enabling Members, their staff, and Parliamentary departments to operate effectively. The role is hands‑on and technically focused.

Based in NSW Parliament, the Department of Parliamentary Services (DPS) is a specialist service department working to support the operation of the Parliament of NSW by providing logistical support and advice to members, the Departments of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly and the people of New South Wales. Our office is found close to public transport in the heart of Macquarie Street CBD, next to the State Library and Sydney’s Botanic Gardens.

About you

In this role you would require experience in deploying endpoint computing devices, including desktops, laptops, tablets and mobile devices; and providing quality user support in a decentralised, high demand organisation. Experience supporting Windows‑based environments, Microsoft 365 applications and mobile devices in enterprise or government environments. Familiarity with device imaging, SOE management, patching and endpoint security practices. Experience with asset management and equipment lifecycle practices.

• Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience in end user support or device deployment.
• Certification or experience with ITIL Foundation in service management practices.
• Willingness and capacity to participate in an “on call” roster for coverage on Parliament Sitting Days.
