Job summary

Active Tree Services in Waterloo NSW or Bayswater VIC is seeking an experienced recruiter to lead end-to-end recruitment for field-based, trade, technical and operational roles across Australia. You’ll partner with operational leaders, shape hiring strategies, and build strong relationships in a down-to-earth team.

The role is permanent, full-time with Monday-to-Friday hours and hybrid work options. A salary of AU$85,000–$105,000 plus super and a bonus of up to 10% is offered, with opportunities

Qualifications

• A minimum of three years’ end-to-end recruitment experience.
• Experience recruiting in a trade, construction, utilities, infrastructure or similar operational environment.
• Ability to manage multiple vacancies and changing priorities.
• Confidence partnering with operational managers and providing practical recruitment advice.
• Strong attention to detail across candidate assessment, recruitment records and pre-employment compliance.
• Sound knowledge of Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreements, including classifications, pay structures and entitlements, will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end recruitment for field-based, trade, technical and operational roles across Australia.
• Work with operational leaders nationally to understand workforce needs and recruitment timeframes.
• Advise hiring managers on candidate availability, market conditions, sourcing options and salary expectations.
• Create engaging job adverts and proactively source candidates through multiple channels.
• Assess and screen candidates, prepare shortlists, coordinate interviews and offers.
• Maintain timely, fair, consistent recruitment processes with candidates and hiring managers.
