Anton Murray Consulting is partnering with a leading global investment bank to appoint a Payroll Officer in their Sydney office. The role oversees end-to-end payroll for approximately 550 employees across multiple entities, with support from the Head of Payroll and HR/Payroll Controls.

The ideal candidate has 2–3+ years’ experience in payroll processing and is proficient with iChris and Excel. You will manage monthly cycles, handle termination calculations, and contribute to end-of-month

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years' experience in payroll processing (end-to-end).
• Experience using iChris is essential.
• Proficient with Excel (VLOOKUPs, PivotTables) and Microsoft Office.
• Strong knowledge of current legislation including PAYG, Super, LSL, STP, BFI Award.

Responsabilités

• Manage the monthly end-to-end payroll process and off-cycle pay runs.
• Maintain and update the payroll database and employee records.
• Process termination calculations, timesheets, and leave management (WorkDay and iChris).
• Handle end-of-month reporting, superannuation, PAYG, and payroll tax remittance.
• Respond to payroll queries from the shared inbox within 48 hours.
• Partner with Payroll Controllers, HRBPs, and Business Units to resolve pay-related matters.
• Support year-end reconciliations and audit processes.
