Job summary

ibis Perth, part of Accor, is seeking a Reservations Agent to welcome guests and manage bookings with accuracy and courtesy. You will respond to inquiries by phone, email, and channels, explain room types, rates, and packages, and collaborate with front office to maximise occupancy.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate has experience in reservations or customer service within hospitality.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Proficiency with hotel PMS; Opera Cloud is an advantage.

• Managing guest bookings, changes, and cancellations with accuracy and professionalism.
• Responding promptly and courteously to guest inquiries via phone, email, and other channels.

• Managing guest bookings, changes, and cancellations with accuracy and professionalism.
• Responding promptly and courteously to guest inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels.

• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of hotel services, promotions, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience.
• Ensuring special requests and preferences are noted and communicated effectively to relevant departments.
• Collaborating with the front office and sales team to maximise occupancy and revenue.
• Delivering exceptional guest service and resolving booking-related issues promptly and effectively.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a reservations or customer service role within the hospitality industry, along with:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in hotel property management systems (PMS) and familiarity with reservations software Opera Cloud is an advantage.
• A positive and professional demeanour, with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
