ibis Perth, located in the heart of Perth CBD, is seeking a Reservations Agent to welcome guests and manage bookings. You will provide detailed information on room types, rates, and packages, and collaborate with front desk to maximise occupancy.

• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of hotel services, promotions and local attractions.
• Noting and communicating special requests to relevant departments.
• Collaborating with front office and sales to maximise occupancy and revenue.

What you will be doing:

• Managing guest bookings, changes, and cancellations with accuracy and professionalism.
• Responding promptly and courteously to guest inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels.
• Providing detailed information on room types, rates, packages, and amenities to assist guests in selecting their ideal stay.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of hotel services, promotions, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience.
• Ensuring special requests and preferences are noted and communicated effectively to relevant departments.
• Collaborating with the front office and sales team to maximise occupancy and revenue.
• Delivering exceptional guest service and resolving booking-related issues promptly and effectively.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a reservations or customer service role within the hospitality industry, along with:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in hotel property management systems (PMS) and familiarity with reservations software Opera Cloud is an advantage.
• A positive and professional demeanour, with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
