Job summary

genU is seeking Support Workers to join our team in Perth for casual shifts, helping customers with disabilities to live more independently through accommodation and community activities such as swimming.

You will work with customers on daily living skills, implement person-centred plans, and ensure reporting and administrative duties are completed in line with the organisation's policies. A driver’s licence and NDIS checks are required.

Qualifications

• Well developed interpersonal skills; ability to build effective relationships.
• Ability to follow Person Centred plans and assist people to achieve goals.
• Understanding and enthusiasm for working with people with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Support person-centred plans that identify a customer’s life goals and work to achieve them.
• Assist customers with daily living skills such as meal prep, housekeeping, showering, toileting and medication administration.
• Ensure positive behaviour support plans are followed; and
• Handle administration duties and mandatory reporting.
